Critical Pedagogy - what is it?
Superheroes as a Curricular Theme -
The theme of
Superheroes can be combined with media studies to create a curriculum that
will: 1) Motivate students, 2) Teach many valuable media
literacy skills - Media Analysis, Media Critique and Media Production, 3) Raise
standardized test scores, 4) Meet all the requirements of the State and National
Standards for any and all subjects, 5) Teach values and 6) Provide
inspiration and hope.
