Pricing Sheet for On-Site
Professional Staff Development
Thank you for your interest in
21st Century Schools regarding professional staff development for
your campus or district. We would be delighted to bring
our workshop to your staff. Two great benefits to bringing this workshop to your campus:
- It is far more cost effective per teacher to bring the workshop to your
staff.
- The entire staff has the opportunity to participate in the
workshop first-hand as opposed to hearing about it second-hand from the team of
people who may have attended. Having the entire staff spend the two days
learning together will greatly increase the learning curve, and be a much more
effective professional development in terms of change in the classrooms on your
campus.
We can bring you one of our regular regional workshops:
We can tailor this
workshop to your district and campus goals as well as the particular needs of
your staff. We can also design and deliver other professional development
related to the topics of curriculum design, authentic assessment, classroom
management, media literacies, multiple intelligences, learning styles, and other
topics.
The topics to be addressed as well as
the size of the group participating, whether it be a single campus, an entire
district, or several districts collaborating, will determine the number of
consultants needed.
Research shows us that the best
results for professional development entail the evaluation of the staff needs
and goals, and require supportive follow-up. This type of professional
development planning will produce the best return on your time and money, and
will yield the best results.
The following prices are for one
consultant (per day) to provide professional development for a staff of up to 50 people in
curriculum design. (NOTE: 50 is the maximum; for your staff to
receive a more in-depth, personalized experience, you need one consultant for 20
people). Prices will also vary depending on the number of days per
school year you wish to contract. Prices are for the consulting fees only*.
Additional costs will include travel expenses. We can bring a multimedia
projector if you do not have one. You will be responsible for providing
needed equipment such as an overhead projector and screen (for group activities)
and for
reproducing materials, etc. (NOTE: 50 is the maximum; for your staff
to receive a more in-depth, personalized experience, you need one consultant for
20 people)

A deposit of l/2 the consulting fees
is due upon signing of contract in order to reserve your preferred dates or your
number of days for that school year. The balance will be due upon completion of
each staff development.
We are currently scheduling dates for
professional development at various schools throughout the United States for
2006-2007. We look forward to working with you

Whole-District or
Multi-District Professional Development Conferences
21st Century Schools can
also organize and implement whole-district and multi-district conferences.
These differ from the workshops in that they allow for a greater audience than
do the workshops such as
Designing the 21st Century Classroom.
These conferences will provide your
district with an interdisciplinary team of educational professionals to present
the topics of your choice to your entire district staff. These are great for
new school year inservices as well as mid-year inservice professional
development experiences. Possible topics include, but are not limited to:

- Accountability and Assessment
- Authentic Assessment
- Character Education and Service Learning
- Diversity
- Curriculum and Instruction
- Media and Multiple Literacies
- Educational Technology
- School Improvement and Reform
- What Works In Schools
We would be pleased to assist you in
the planning and implementation of your district in-service. We recommend
teaming with other districts in these endeavors in order to help share the costs
of these events.
