Curriculum and Instruction

for the 21st Century !

Designing effective, quality curriculum and instruction takes time, research, writing, designing, implementation, evaluation, follow-up and continued support.  As a participant at a recent workshop put it, “You can’t rush a ripening raspberry!”

Consultants at 21st Century Schools can assist you in developing your Personal Professional Development Plan for your district or campus - custom-tailored Professional Staff Development designed to meet the specific needs of your schools, staff and community.

After assessing the particular needs for your staff, our consultants will work with you, your staff, and all stakeholders to develop an appropriate staff development program. Assessing needs, setting goals, planning and action will all be aligned to the direction to be taken in staff development voiced by goals of your stakeholders.   See our Professional Staff Development Needs Assessment tools.

All professional development activities will be designed to maximize growth as they connect and flow in relation to one another. Ongoing evaluation of progress, conducted by staff, administrators, and stakeholders as well as our consultants will guide the continual fine adjustment of the staff development program.

Our workshops provide you with many valuable tools for designing and implementing curriculum and classroom strategies to support that curriculum.  The workshop facilitators assist and support you and your teams in developing a 21st century curriculum that means something to you, to your school and works with the unique resources and needs of your community.

If you desire sustained change and continuous improvement, you are going to need ongoing support.
