Teemu Leinonen, Ph. D.

We are delighted to announce our newest member, Dr. Teemu Leinonen, to the Advisory Board for 21st Century Schools!

Dr. Leinonen is the Professor of New Media Design and Learning at the Aalto University School of Art and Design in Helsinki, Finland.  He is also a member of the Learning Environments research group.  Dr. Leinonen is currently writing a book with the working title, "New Media, New Culture".  > blog in English> blog in Finnish> bio

Sugata Mitra, Ph.D.

Dr. Mitra is most famous for his "Hole in the Wall" experiment in India, in which he proved that children do not require a teacher to learn!  In fact, these experiments were the inspiration for the multiple Academy Award winning film, Slumdog Millionaire.

Merryl Goldberg, Ed.D.

Arts and Creativity, Curriculum Design, Multicultural Education, Dr. Goldberg is an Author and International Speaker.  She is the winner of two Fulbright scholarships to bring educators to India and Mexico.  Dr. Goldberg is Professor of Visual and Performing Arts at California State University.  And the Director of the ARTES Project in San Marcos, California, USA.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Douglas Kellner, Ph.D.
