Katrina Adopt-a-School Program

Schools around the country want to help those impacted by Hurricane Katrina. Some have requested the name of a particular school with whom they can partner so that their students and the students at the impacted school can establish a dialogue and work through the recovery efforts together.

When you register we will post the information you provide on the registration form. If you want any information withheld, please let us know.

Hurricane Katrina Impacted Schools - If you are a school impacted by Hurricane Katrina and would like to sign up for a partner school, please go to this page to register. We welcome photos, before and after, of your school. Those you may submit by email to KatrinaSchool@21stCenturySchools.com

21st Century Schools does not accept monies, equipment or supplies that you wish to send to the schools. Those need to go directly to the school. If that is not possible at this time due to the extent of damage in the area,, we can help you arrange to get the items and/or money to the school via a nonprofit organization. This page is only for the purposes of helping schools find each other, and offers ideas on how you can help. We will help you find information on how and where to ship items, and help locate other information for you.
