Service Learning -
Academics in Action
This workshop will
focus on how to design and implement powerful units of curriculum based on
meaningful service-learning projects. These projects are the ultimate 21st
century curriculum. They are motivational, provide real-life connections to the
curriculum, teach the standards, build skills and knowledge required for the
21st century, and meet all the critical attributes of an ideal 21st century
